Staffs

  • In the Staff tab, the admin can create multiple staff members.
  • Go to the Admin Dashboard > Bookify > Staffs.
  • Click the Add Staff button to add a new staff member.
  • Once clicked, a popup will appear where the admin can add the staff’s details.
  • After entering the details, click the Save button to continue.
  • Next, the admin must assign services to the staff member. Navigate to the Services tab to proceed.
  • Once completed, the admin will land on the Services tab.

Note: The services  and categories must be created prior; if not, the admin won’t see the services

  • Assign the service to the staff member and specify the price.
  • Now, navigate to the Schedule tab.
  • Admin can set the duration and interval of the slots under the Time Slot Duration and Time Slot Interval dropdown.

Note:

  • Once completed, add the days and timings for your store.
  • The admin can add the break by clicking the Add Break button.
  • Once clicked, the admin will have a dropdown beneath the timing where the admin can select the slots for the break.

Note: Admin can add and delete multiple breaks within a single day.

  • Once done, the admin can add the Special Days in the Special Days tab.
  • Navigate to the Special Days tab.
  • A window will appear where the admin can add the special day for the specific staff.
  • To add the special day, click on the Add Special Day button.
  • Select the date and the specific time for that day.
  • Enter a note if needed.
  • The admin can delete a special day by clicking the Remove Special Date button.

Note: The admin can add multiple special days.

  • Once done, the admin can add holidays in the Holidays tab.
  • Navigate to the Holidays tab.
  • A window will appear where the admin can add the holiday for the specific staff.
  • To add the holiday, click the Add Holiday Button.
  • Now, enter the holiday name and date in their respective fields. Optionally, you can also add a note.
  • The admin can remove a holiday by clicking the Remove Holiday button.
  • Multiple holidays can be added and deleted by the admin.
  • Once done, click the Update button.
  • The admin can create multiple staff members.
  • Staff can be exported to a CSV file by the admin by clicking the Export to CSV button.
  • Once clicked, a CSV file will be downloaded.
  • The details have been successfully exported to a CSV file.

Front-End Impact

  • Go to the website.
  • Navigate to the Bookify page.
  • The staff created in the back end is visible on the front end.
  • Select the staff and click the Next Step button.
  • Select a date, and once chosen, the staff member’s hours configured in the backend settings will be displayed on the front end.

Special Day

  • As you can see, on the special date, the updated hours are reflected on the front end, overriding the usual operating hours.

Holiday

  • As you can see, the date on which the holiday was applied is disabled on the front end, preventing users from selecting it for booking.

Back-End Settings

  • Go to the Admin Dashboard > Bookify > Staffs.
  • Edit a staff member.
  • Once clicked, a window will appear.
  • Navigate to the Schedule tab.
  • Enable the Allow Multiple Bookings toggle button.
  • Once done, click the Update button.

Note: The admin can disable the multiple bookings option for specific staff members. In this case, we will demonstrate both scenarios: when multiple bookings are enabled for this staff member and when they are disabled.

Front-End Impact

  • Go to the website.
  • Navigate to the Bookify page.
  • Proceed to the Staff section.
  • Select the staff member for whom multiple bookings were enabled in the back-end settings.
  • Once selected, click the Next Step button.
Enabled
  • As you can see, the user can book multiple slots for the specific staff member for whom the multiple-booking option was enabled.
Disabled
  • As you can see, the user cannot book multiple slots for a specific staff member because the multiple-booking option is disabled in the back-end settings.
