How to Set Up Google Meet Integration in Bookify
Getting started with Google Meet in Bookify is straightforward:
For Admins
- Connect Your Google Account
- Navigate to WordPress Admin Dashboard > Bookify > Settings
- Select the Integration Settings tab
- Activate both “Enable Google Calendar” and “Enable Google Meet” toggle buttons
- Enter your Google Client ID and Client Secret
- Create Google Meet Services
- Go to Admin Dashboard > Bookify > Services
- Click “Add Service” and enable the Google Meet toggle for applicable services
- Connect Staff Members
- Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Bookify > Staffs
- Edit each staff member who will offer virtual appointments
- Use the “Sign in with Google” button to connect their Google accounts
The Customer Experience
When a client books a Google Meet service through your Bookify system:
- They select the Google Meet-enabled service and choose their preferred time slot
- Upon booking confirmation, they automatically receive an email with the Google Meet link
- Clients can easily accept, tentatively accept, or decline the invitation directly from their email
- The appointment appears in both the client’s and service provider’s Google Calendars
